Fibre Identification Test

-:Identification test:-

It is fact that the fibre have some inherent qualities . this inherent qualities can’t be chance or difficult to change and it always live with the fibre.

There are different type of test to identification of textile fibre.

There are classified in two categories:-

                 1.       Non technical test

                 2.       Technical test

    1.       Non – technical test or Physical test :-

This test done easily and they do not required any apparatus and chemical.

    2.       Technical test or Chemical test :-

This are those test , where , method required some special apparatus and chemical.

All most all the test have their own limitation , correct observation and correct result are obtain by experience and practice.

The skillness and experience develop by repeating these test. So that it become easy to identify  the characteristics of fibre.

Classification of Fibre Test:-

 Classification of the fibre test is also classified by conformation of the fibre.

The fibre test is classified into two categories:-

               1.       Non confirmative test

               2.       Confirmative test

     1.       Non Confirmative test :- In this test we can only guess not confirmed.

These classified by :-

i.                     Visual test

ii.                   Feeling test

iii.                 Breaking test

iv.                 Burning test

v.                   Microscopical test

    2.       Confirmative Test :- In this test we conform about the fibre.

These classified by :-

i.                     Density test

ii.                   Colour test

iii.                 Chemical test
