But we are explaining most popular and widely use in spinning industry.

Her we explain four most popular preparation method :-

1.        Cotton Carded Yarn
2.       Cotton Combed Yarn
3.       Rotor Or Open End Yarn
4.       Air Jet Yarn

1.Cotton Carded Yarn:- 

this type of yarn contains a wide range of fibre length.

Properties of carded yarn :-

• Low Strength
• Less lusture
• More Hairy
• It’s cost Cheaper
• Yarn contain neps
• Low quality
• Feel hard

2. Cotton Combed Yarn:-

Properties of Combed Yarn:-

• Higher Strength
• High Lusture
• Higher Cost
• Quality of yarn is good
• Feel soft
• Yarn contains low short fibre

3. Rotor or Open End Yarn:- 

Sliver from the card goes into the rotor, is spun into yarn.

Properties Of Rotor Yarn:-

• Uniform but flexible yarn with better dye ability
• Yarn cost is low.
• Yarn use for fabric such as denim, towels and poplins.
• 20% more twisted but 15-20& weaker as the yarn is coarser.
• Cheaper raw  material
• Lower       yarn  fault  content
• No  twist  variation

4. Air Jet Yarn:-

• The  Air jet spinning  method, in which  the yarn is  obtained  from   staple.
• Sliver is fed into the machine and is further drawn out to the final count      and  twist is inserted                .

Properties of Air Jet Yarn:-

• Creates  functional  &  fashionable  yarn
• Less hairiness & Clear       appearance
• High resistance to  Pilling & abrasion
• High moisture absorption
• Less  shrinkage & High wash resistance
• Can be spun with various other materials such as cotton, synthetic fiber, regenerated fiber and blended fiber.
